How to Use Chrome Browser and Chrome Apps
Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google that uses the WebKit layout engine. It was first released as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on September 2, 2008, and the public stable release was on December 11, 2008. The name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers. As of January 2012, Chrome is the second most widely used browser, having overtaken Firefox in November 2011, with a 28.4% worldwide usage share of web browsers and is the most popular browser in Pakistan,[1] Russia,[2] India[3] and South America,[4] according toStatCounter.[5][6]
You’ve probably heard that there are now
    webapplications
specific to the Chrome browser and the upcoming Chrome OS, so here is a short guide on how you can start using them. It’s actually super-easy to set up, and you’ll be using some great webapps in no time at all. So, here goes.
Webapps built for Chrome can be found at the Chrome Web Store. You can get there by opening a new Chrome tab, where you’ll see a little Chrome shopping bag.

You can go directly there from here. When you do get there, you’ll see a site that resembles an
    app
directory such as iTunes. There are a number of options for how to find the right webapp, using the categories on the left, the most popular in the middle or by searching on the top left.

I’ve heard that the new HootSuite social media webapp, is supposed to be faster, so I first go looking for that by searching for it.

Clicking on the icon here leads me to the install page.

I install the app, and it’s ready to rock. It then shows up in a new tab that pops up automatically.

    A Couple Of Things
-Uninstalling a webapp is just as easy; all you need to do is right click (CTRL Click for macs) and uninstall.

-You do have some other options when you right click here. If you use an
    application
a lot, you can pin it so it always opens with Chrome. You can also go full screen or open in a separate window,
-A Google Account is required to use the Chrome Web Store.
-For some reason, when I use the stable build of Chrome, the Web Store app does not currently appear. I’m not sure why, but perhaps this is part of a planned roll out.
